About us
Care that meets people where they are.
We provide compassionate mental-health services for individuals and families. Our clinicians use evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches while honoring each person's background, strengths, and goals.
We see adults, adolescents and children in person and by secure video, and we accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid.
We connectWe build trusted relationships between clients, clinicians, families, and community supports.
We helpWe offer practical, individualized care for emotional wellness and everyday functioning.
We growWe help people develop greater stability, confidence, and hope for what comes next.
Each clinician's profile includes a photograph, credentials, specialties, treatment approach, languages, and availability.
Each clinician writes their own card under My profile in the workspace — photo, specialties and a few lines about how they work. The sample card shows how one looks filled in.
Appointments
How to make an appointment
Reach out the way that is easiest for you. We will find a time, a clinician and a place — in the office or by secure video — that fit.
Where In person or by secure video — we share the office details when we book your first visit.
In crisis? Call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any time. In an emergency, call 911.
For clinics and group practices
Built by clinicians, for clinicians who are tired of their EHR.
We run a busy behavioral health group practice. We couldn’t find a records system that understood New York outpatient mental health, so we built our own. Now we’re opening it to a few practices like ours.
Audit-ready documentation, without the paperwork marathon
Progress notes, treatment plans and intake packets built around OMH Part 599. Required boxes are checked before a note can be signed, signed notes are locked, and corrections are kept as dated amendments. Your next audit becomes a non-event.
Suicide-risk care you can defend
Moderate and High risk each have a step-by-step workflow: assessment, intervention, safety plan, SAFE Act decision, incident review and quick re-evaluations. When the client is ready to step down, it produces a signed closing summary a reviewer can read in five minutes.
Mostly clicks, not typing
Forms are mostly checkboxes and short answers. Dictate what happened and AI-assisted drafting fills in the boxes for your review. Nothing is signed until you confirm it. (AI drafting turns on with our secure, HIPAA-covered server.)
Billing that follows the session
Claims come straight from the week’s sessions. Remittances sort themselves into paid, denied and patient balance due. Copays, follow-ups, reminders and payroll are all in one place.
The whole office on one screen
Calendar, clock-in, office scheduling, client forms to sign online, tasks and messages. It’s built for the way a group practice actually runs.
See it with your own caseload in mind.
We’ll walk you through a live demo with a sample practice. It takes 30 minutes, there’s no obligation, and no real client information is used.
Point Clarity Services began as a private practice, accepting out-of-pocket payment only.
Seeing the financial needs and hardships of the people we served, alongside a growing mental-health crisis, we opened the door wider and applied for insurance credentialing — so that cost would not stand between a person and care.
Today we are a multi-specialty group practice, with clinicians trained across a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
How we grew
Why we became a group practice.
As the need for mental-health care grew beyond what a small private practice could meet, and the people who came to us brought an ever wider range of concerns and diagnoses, it became clear that one approach would never fit everyone.
So we invited other clinicians to join us. Together we can serve more people, and shape each person's treatment around the approach that suits them best. Regular group trainings keep our care client-centered and our treatment effective.
Mission
What we set out to do.
To provide compassionate, effective and client-centered individual, couple and family mental-health services for a racially, ethnically, culturally, religiously and economically diverse community.
To consistently train our staff in evidence-based treatment approaches, so we can best meet the needs of clients facing a broad range of mental-health concerns.
To widen opportunity for clinicians and clients of diverse cultural and racial backgrounds to provide, access and train in care.
Our model
The right clinician, and the right approach.
Point Clarity is a multi-specialty group practice. We connect each client with a clinician who is trained in — and effective with — the therapeutic approach that best suits their needs.
